The next morning, they came for Patricia before her mind had a chance to slip back into herself. Two staffers in white moved her like a crate, guiding her out of the glass cell and down a corridor she hadn’t seen before. This one was wider, and cold, and the walls—off-white instead of antiseptic blue—showed little nicks and scuffs, evidence that not all of Willow Grove’s inhabitants traveled quietly.
