One is Jade's older, perverted brother, Steven. The other is her interview with the misogynist Bill Hepler of Hepler Financial, where Jade applies for an administrative position. The way Jade's mind begins to interpret the suggestions leads her to accept treatment from men that most would find deplorable. Being referred to as "Hole". Getting molested by her brother. All of these things are simply challenges for Jade to overcome as she demands excellence of herself in her work, believing the best about her fellow man.
