Parts: One, Two, Three, Four, Five, Six The morning light cut through the windows, harsh and golden, striping the floor and her bare skin. Nora stood in front of the mirror, naked, her body mapped with bruises on her hips, red scrapes where Arthur’s stubble had burned her raw, the black collar tight around her throat. Arthur stood behind her, close enough that she could feel the heat of his body, his eyes fixed on her reflection.
